About Me
Storytelling isn’t just conveying someone's perspective; it’s a way to intimately connect people. Through stories, we are able to relate to one another and see the world through a different lens. We are able to practice empathy and humanize spaces and places. I believe storytelling is powerful - and with this power, we can make positive change. This is why I have dedicated my career to storytelling by utilizing communication platforms like TV, web and social media.
I genuinely love my home state, Utah. Currently, I host SLCtv, Salt Lake City's government access channel where I cover City news, spotlight local events and business, and highlight Salt Lake City government-related stories, and projects to create awareness and increase community engagement. My goal is to expose Salt Lake's hidden gems from the local mom-and-pop shops and businesses, to unique locations, share perspective on how communities work together, provide a list of activities people can attend and showcase the beautiful landscapes Utah has to offer.
In my spare time, I like to stay active in my community, keep moving in my Zumba class, stay connected with family, explore new restaurants with friends and take selfies with my dog, Star. Last, as a way to stay creative and further explore the arts, I just enrolled in acting classes.
